Dec 19 2017, 4:40 pm

With a wide network of bars, clubs and events, it’s hard to keep up with everything that Blueprint has to offer in this fair city. Here’s your weekly roundup.

10. Halloween Weekend

We had an amazing time hosting so many incredible costumes and people this past weekend. From parties on parties at Caprice and Venue on Friday to Celebrities’ sold-out madness at Playhouse Saturdays, it’s no exaggeration when we say that this weekend was one for the books.

The un-refuted king of the ever-expanding deep house movement, Hot Since 82, put on a sold out show at Shine on Friday and showed us exactly where dance music is going.

7. Colony Bar

Kitsilano’s busiest weeknight, Tapped Out Tuesdays, kept things going strong with $3 draft last week and with midterms over and done, this week will be even bigger. If you missed the announcement, we also launched a Monday weekly dedicated to UBC and their alma matter.

6. The 1975

UK indie band The 1975 made us feel some type of way at Venue with a show that sold out over a MONTH in advance.

5. Contact 2013

We’ve been blown away by the reception we’ve had to our biggest event EVER, Contact 2013. With Skrillex, Diplo and many more taking the stage over two days, it’s no surprise that tickets have hit the third and final tier. Everything you need to know and more at Contact-Festival.com.

3. Back-to-Back Vancouver Debuts

We’re hosting two incredible artists for their very first Vancouver appearances at Celebrities Nightclub this weekend: internet sensations The Chainsmokers will be taking the stage this Friday while dutch trio Shermanology are in gear for Playhouse Saturdays.

2. Alesso’s Uprising Tour

Our last #BPMASSIVE before Contact 2013, Alesso’s Uprising Tour, is going down on November 10 over the long weekend. With Cedric Gervais, Carnage and Michael Brun added as support, this one’s a no-brainer. Don’t forget to take part in our contest to win a meet-and-greet with Alesso himself.

1. NYE

It may seem like a long way off, but when NYE events sell out year-after-year we’re bringing all the juicy details to you early so that you can start planning your perfect night. Caprice and Venue have both announced their parties, and if rumors stand correct, Shine is bringing Vancouver’s two top Wednesday weeklies, Faded and Re-Up, together for the occasion.
