BLENZ COFFEE is reopening its Downtown Vancouver store that was severely damaged during the June 15, 2011 riots. The store, located at 495 West Georgia at Richards Street, will reopen on Friday, August 19th. Franchisee Minnie Dun (pictured above) will welcome back customers with free beverages and special events. “I’m delighted to see Minnie back in her store, she has been through a very traumatic ordeal and now it is time to for her to rebuild,” said George Moen, president of BLENZ COFFEE. “We cannot change what happened, but this is about a new beginning. Minnie is looking forward to seeing her regular customers once again.”

BLENZ COFFEE will host a Grand Reopening Party on Friday, August 19th from 12 – 6pm and an ‘Open House’ on Saturday, August 20th from 10 am – 5 p.m. The Grand Reopening will kick off with a spectacular Chinese lion dance. This is a traditional Chinese dance intended to bring rejuvenation and good luck to the newly renovated store. Also at the event there will be also live music, caricature drawings and free beverages for everyone to enjoy. Both events are open to the public and BLENZ COFFEE asks everyone to drop by and have a great beverage on them.
