Gastown’s celebrated restaurant Blacktail has officially announced that the Water Street eatery will be closing its doors for good at the end of the month, due to the restaurant’s current lease ending.
Known for its well-executed and beautifully presented B.C.-centric farm-to-table dishes, Blacktail will be missed for its innovative fare and warm, and inviting setting.
The restaurant, where Executive Chef Geoff Rogers helmed the kitchen, posted the news on their social media channels and website with a message that read:
It is with much sadness that Blacktail officially announces its closure at the end of the month. Due to the lease ending at its current premises, Blacktail’s last day of operation will be Saturday March 26, 2016.
Our last day will be a special event, with all liquor selling at 50% off, so come visit, get your drink on, and say goodbye to our amazing staff!
Blacktail sincerely wants to thank all our guests for your patronage and the wonderful times you’ve shared with us.
