Perhaps the rain has done its fair share in keeping the masses away from Metrotown this Black Friday.

Or, maybe, they simply haven’t arrived yet.

Hundreds of eager shoppers made their way into the mall early this morning, although the chaotic crowds have yet to assemble.

The busiest areas included Sportchek, Uniqlo, and customer service kiosks.

Uniqlo boasts a number of in-store specials, as well as the release of their newest KAWS x Sesame Street line. Shoppers patiently waited at customer service kiosks across the mall, in hopes of scoring the bonus credit that comes with buying a $250 gift card.

If you were considering making a trip to Metrotown for some Black Friday shopping, here’s a quick look at what lineups and crowds are looking like.

We’ll keep this post updated with photos throughout the day.
