If you love The Red Wagon, then you’ll love it’s sort of twin, Bistro Wagon Rouge, which opens today, October 29, 2013 and will have contain a liquor license.
The new East Village eatery will focus on French bistro food at the same great prices one has come to expect at The Red Wagon. Bistro Wagon Rouge will be located at 1869 Powell Street just a few blocks away from the The Red Wagon.
Some of the dishes you’ll find on the menu are cassoulet, terrine, pâté, tongue, duck confit, pork belly, and onion soup and grilled-octopus-and-potato salad.
