At approximately 4:30 p.m. today, a large tree at Victory Square fell onto Cambie Street near West Pender Street.
Reports are coming in that 2 people are trapped inside a vehicle that was driving by as it fell. Emergency crews are responding to the scene.
Although the tree is believed to be old, the exact cause is not known at this time.
