Big Brother Canada casting call kicks off in Vancouver this weekend

If your life goals include being broadcast online and on television 24 hours a day for all the world to see, while you compete in bizarre hijinks and begin casual romances with semi-good-looking people, then you may be interested in auditioning for the fourth season of Big Brother Canada, coming to Vancouver this weekend.

The hit reality TV show airs every winter across Canada, featuring a number of “house guests” who compete under complete surveillance to win the grand prize of $100,000. Participants are locked inside a “house” with no access to the outside world for several weeks while the show films. Each week someone is kicked out of the house based on votes.

Airing on Global TV and produced by Shaw Media and Insight Productions, Big Brother Canada is hosting an open casting call on Saturday, September 19 at The Bourbon in Gastown.

Big Brother Canada is looking for the biggest and boldest personalities in Canada to star in its fourth season airing on Global TV in Winter 2016,” a press release for the event reads.

“Do you think you have what it takes to win Big Brother Canada? Are you a BIG personality with STRONG opinions? Are you competitive and willing to fight for what you believe in?” Those are just some of the qualities the casting team is looking for.

Applicants must be Canadian and 19-years-old or over by February 1, 2016. They can either attend the casting call or submit their applications online by October 26, 2015 at www.BigBrotherCanada.ca.

The Vancouver tour stop is the first in a slew of open casting calls across Canada. They will also visit Montreal, Calgary, Toronto and several other major cities.
