Vancouver is home to some amazing photographers, and many of them are on Instagram. Every week, we receive thousands of photo submissions by email and social media with the hashtag #VancityBuzz.

Today I move back to the big city. It has been a fun winter in the mountains, travelling around Europe, exploring my own back yard. Now it is time to keep this adventure going, but in a new familiar place! Good thing that in Vancouver, you are never too far from the mountains.

Day 146: Macklemore kicked off his North American tour in Vancouver tonight. I didn’t watch the whole show but during one of the breaks between songs he started discussing that his first set he did was in Vancouver. Ive heard him tell this story before but what I thought was cool this time around was that he mentioned @Emotionz name quickly, a local Vancouver emcee who has been a crucial part of the scene for a very long time. Being an artist that has so much global recognition Its good to know that he remembers the people who helped him get to where he is today. @Macklemore
