Let’s admit it – we all love a good selfie.
Some have it down to an art, capturing that perfect angle, the right lighting, and of course having a beautiful backdrop helps. With summer upon us in Vancouver, there are endless places to snap your next Insta-worthy selfie in the city.
Here are 10 of the best summer selfie spots in and around Vancouver!
English Bay at sunset
We all know that visiting English Bay beach is a summertime must. Head down just before sunset to capture that perfect pink and orange sky selfie.
When the hot weather hits Vancouver, Kits pool is where it’s at. Capture your summer selfie while lounging by the pool, basking in the sunshine, and soaking in that beautiful view.
Head on down to Wreck Beach this summer, where clothing is optional. Known as one of North America’s largest nude beaches, there’s no telling what you may come across!
Nothing says summer like heading out into nature. Take the trek up Grouse Mountain for your next selfie, trust us – the view is worth it!
Sea to Sky gondola
If you prefer a more scenic route, take the Sea to Sky gondola instead. Located in Squamish, BC the gondola ride is approximately 10 minutes long offering breathtaking views of Howe Sound, all 885 m above sea level.
@pebbleshoo here again: Throughout the summer months, myself and @springmcclurg hike and run up the trail to the top of the gondola more times than I can keep track of. The trail up is a great way to exercise your leg muscles and the gondola down means you can reduce the impact on your knees. The amazing views over Squamish also help. #AdventureByNature#exploresquamish #vancouverisawesome #squamish #seatosky #604explore #greatnorthcollective #pnw #hikingday
Stanley Park Pitch & Putt

Also located in North Vancouver, Deep Cove offers breathtaking views of the Indian Arm. Take the Baden Powell Trail up to Quarry Rock or rent a kayak and hit the water to capture that perfect selfie.
A short drive north from Vancouver, Whistler has tons of things for you to do this summer while snapping your next selfie. Go ziplining, bungee jumping, take a scenic hike or simply wander around the shops in the village.
