Frozen or on the rocks, with or without salt, classically-styled or flavour-infused: There are some restaurants and bars in the city mixing some seriously delicious tequila-packed renditions of the margarita.

Here’s our list of the best margaritas in Vancouver.

La Mezcaleria

Some of the best Mexican food in Vancouver can be found at La Mezcaleria. The menu is adventurous and refined, with plenty of seafood options. The emphasis is on Mezcal at La Mezcaleria; it’s a spirit made of agave that’s the smoky, complex cousin of tequila. It’s no surprise that patrons should find a range of tempting libations here. Margarita aficionados have the choice of either Herradura Reposado or Alipus San Juan, mixed with lime, agave, and salt.
