The competition was intense this weekend, as thousands of rugby sevens fans filled BC Place for one reason: to make Daily Hive’s annual best-dressed list.
Or maybe it was the rugby.
In any case, Vancouver Sevens made its 11th visit to our city, thrilling 42,514 fans over the weekend. SVNS Vancouver organizers confirmed that the event will return in 2027, set for March 6 and 7.
South Africa was crowned champions of the men’s tournament, while New Zealand won the women’s event, capping the competition with a celebratory haka.

Fans in attendance also brought their A-game.
