What: Music Waste is an independent music and art festival held annually in Vancouver. Happening over four days at the beginning of June, Music Waste is entirely volunteer-run and organized, and showcases over 70 local bands.

What: The longest running Sunday night party in Vancouver, with hip-hop, r&b and reggae night spread over two rooms. The Freshest DJs hold down the main room with your hosts Richie McFly & LeChance, while Rico Uno and DJ Arems do their thing in the Annex.

What: With mixtures of blues, jazz, heavy bass, and delicate vocals, Marian Hill brings their Down Tour to Vancouver.

What: Luxxury, the disco king of Los Angeles brings his live remix show to Fox with Vancouver’s indie-dance stalwarts Terrace. With music spun by DJ Krown.

What: Quintino has more than 200 international gigs a year, and has performed at Tomorrowland, Marenostrum, Summerfestival, Sunrise Festival and Ushuaia Ibiza. He has been remixing for the likes of Galantis, Major Lazer and more, which have been played in many clubs and festivals.

What: Experience the ancient practice of Kemetic Yoga with Jamaican reggae artist Jah9 and her live band, The Dub Treatment. Unroll your mat and unite through slow-tempo dub in this class with asana, song, meditation and reasoning in the modified Fortune Sound Club studio.

What: Grammy award-winner and legendary performer
AKON performs live in concert. He has sold over 35 million albums worldwide and has 45 Billboard Hot 100 songs under his belt. Akon has also made a staggering 300 guest appearances for icons including Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani, Lil Wayne, R. Kelly, and Eminem.
