With Canadians across the country gearing up for the big birthday weekend, Canada 150 signs have been planted in cities as a perfect photo op for patriotically inspired Instagrammers.
While the Vancouver sign has only recently arrived at its spot at Canada Place, social media has already been flooded with pictures of the 3D behemoth.
What’s coolest is that the sign’s letters change colours throughout the day, so each photo taken with the sign is unique.
Check out a few of the best shots so far, and head over to Canada Place to add yours to the list!
🇨🇦 CANADA 150 • This sculptural sign was recently installed at Canada Place as part of the Canada 150 celebrations. I love the whiteness and the subtle details like the rivets and muted Canada 150 Logo on the sides of each letter. • #canada150 #vancity #vancouvering #vancityart #VancouverArt #vancouverartgallery #veryvancouver
Signs were also placed at 18 other Canadian locations (but we think Vancouver’s background looks the best).
