It’s Breakfast Week! We’re serving up a heaping plateful of delicious stories about the most important meal of the day–and where to get it in the Tri-Cities.

Even though Vancouver has a plethora of fantastic brekkie spots, true breakfast connoisseurs wont be contained within city limits, and they’ll happily venture outside of the city in order to try the best and biggest meals available first thing in the morning.

If you’re in search of a hearty brunch outside of the City of Vancouver, look no further than the Tri-Cities, where breakfast is top-notch and selection is wide.

It’s clear these spots have a lot to offer breakfast lovers, so here are 10 must-try breakfast spots in the Tri-Cities.

Port Moody

1. Gallery Bistro

The Gallery Bistro serves breakfast daily from 10 am to 1:30 pm. Some of the dishes available here are eggs bennies, The Bistro Breakfast, French Toast, and a Croissant Scramble.

2. Omega Cafe

The Omega Cafe serves all-day breakfast in Port Moody. The breakfast menu has a variety of omelettes and bagel sandwiches, which are all served with toast and pan fried potatoes.

3. Nicolelina’s Cafe

4. Amigo Pancake House

5. De Dutch

6. ABC Country Restaurant

ABC Country Restaurant is a franchise that offers big country breakfasts like Chicken & Waffles, a Lumberjack Platter, and hearty Streak and Eggs. This eatery also serves country skillets, bennies, pancakes, omelettes, and more. There is a ton of variety at this spot.

This spot has some serious breakfast items such as the Strawberry Cake Breakfast, a combination two eggs, bacon, and pancakes topped with strawberries, whipped cream, strawberry sauce. Other standout items here  include the Cinnamon Bun Breakfast (comes with a warm cinnamon bun), the Mexican Pulled Pork Hash, and the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. 8. Jimmy’s Place

Jimmy’s has a small menu of brekkie items alongside its regular burger and sandwich selection. This spot has a make-your-own-omelette option alongside an eggs benedict, pancakes, and a classic breakfast.
