We’re very excited to see rising trance star, Ben Gold live at Vancouver’s Caprice Nightclub on Thursday, March 8. Ben Gold is a young British producer and DJ who is really making a name for himself in the trance world.
At only 25, he is already one of the leading artists on Gareth Emery’s Garuda label and has a handful of huge releases under his belt. His productions have received support from all of the major names in trance, including Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond and of course Gareth Emery. His music can also be heard in weekly podcasts and sets from all around the world.
Ben Gold’s big room trance productions are known for their powerfully driven basslines and high energy melodies that are sure to keep dance floors moving all night long. We’re eager to experience some of his biggest hits live and we’re especially anticipating his track’s ‘Colossal’ and ‘Avalanche’. The spirited melody on ‘Colossal’ and the massive echoing synths on Avalanche will surely be some highlights of the night. Another track to listen out for is ‘Flash’. It is Ben Gold’s first collaboration with Gareth Emery and features the classic Garuda sound we’ve come to know and love. He has also done a number of solid remixes of other Gareth tracks, including ‘Tokyo’ and ‘Sanctuary’. After hearing a few of his songs his trademark sound should be very noticeable and if you enjoy it then this show is definitely one to check out.
Although Blueprint doesn’t host too many shows at Caprice, when they do they put on a great night. At under $15 a ticket it should be very hard to say no to this show. I’ve heard excellent reviews of his past shows and I expect to add to another positive one after seeing him next week. Who will be joining us as we start our weekend off early?
