3 reasons to cool down at the Belmont this summer

Get ready to descend out of the hot summer sun to enjoy a little air conditioning and take advantage of the bar’s hottest deals.  We’ve compiled a list of three reasons why the Belmont Bar makes for the perfect place to cool down during the warm summer months. 

1. Half price bottles of wine for June and July

To kick off summer, the Belmont will be launching its half off summer, with half price bottles of wine every day in June and July between 5 and 9 pm. To sweeten up the deal they’ve just revamped their wine list with help from a Legacy Liquor Store sommelier. The Belmont’s new wine list features a unique selection of delectable wines that are summer sip worthy, and on the plus side, the bottle stays colder out of the sun. August features are staying under wraps for now, so stay tuned. 

2. Tapa and happy hour

Stop by The Belmont Bar for some of the sweetest deals on Granville Street, open at 5 p.m.  from Tuesday to Saturday, The Belmont offers a great place to cool off and enjoy a fantastic happy hour. Now offering up house wine, select craft beers, highballs, and sangria all for just $4. You can also nibble your way through their new tapa hour menu featuring daily rotating small plates for $5 from 5 to 7 pm. Also worth checking out is the bar’s full menu. Order up a tasty dinner if you fancy yourself a larger meal.

3. Live entertainment

Sit back and relax to solo performances by Ashleigh Eymann, Alex Maher, or Adrienne and The Flights, who play from 7 to 10 pm most weeknights for no cover charge. You can also stay after dinner and hit the dance floor, grooving to the smooth sounds of the bar’s house band, The Smokin’ Soul Experience. You can catch them on Friday nights or alternatively, the unique vibe of Drums & Decks on Saturday nights starting at 10:30 pm.
