Beat The Heat Hockey Tournament at The Richmond Ice Centre

This summer, Hockey Community is putting together a “BEAT THE HEAT” Ice Hockey Tournament on July 26 to 28 at the Richmond Ice Centre. The top two teams in the tourney will get to play a rematch of their final game at the Rogers Arena sometime this winter.

Hockey Community, a Vancouver based startup, has committed themselves to growing the sport of hockey through technology. Since 2010 they have helped organize more than 4000 hockey games. You can download their mobile app for hockey players on iPhone or Android to sign up to local hockey games including this tournament. This tourney will help get people back on the ice during the summer which HC is trying to make the “On Season.”

The entirety of this tourney will take place at the Richmond Ice Centre, including a two hour grand final with ice cleaning between periods. Players of all levels are welcome, including girls and beginners. Price will be $109 per player or $93 if you sign up with two of your friends.
