A man is in hospital after he was shot in the head with a pellet gun and bear-sprayed in Coquitlam on Tuesday night.
According to CTV News, the incident occurred at approximately 10:40 p.m. when RCMP responded to a reports of a man with serious injuries in the parking lot of the Safeway on Westwood Street near Coquitlam Centre.
The robbery occurred in the area and the victim drove himself to the grocery store, the report states. He is now in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The incident is believed to be a targeted. At this time, no arrests have been made.
