In the changing world of the magazine industry, the Magazine Association of BC is holding BCALME and Carry On, a two-day professional development event on March 23rd and 24th aimed to assuage the uncertainty in this sector by providing workshops, mentoring, and tips to professionals and educators.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear about relevant topics and engage in a networking session that will help them navigate their publications for future growth.
The reception and keynote address, held at the Bill Reid Gallery, will feature Carmine Starnino, Senior Editor at Reader’s Digest.
Throughout the course of the two days, the following guest speakers are confirmed to present a variety of topics: Carmine Starnino, James Patterson, Paul Crosby, Bob Mercer, Elizabeth Rains, and Martin Wong.
