Record-breaking $60M Lotto Max ticket sold in Metro Vancouver

Check your tickets because someone in Metro Vancouver could be taking home a huge cash prize.

The BCLC has announced that the winning Lotto Max ticket for last weekend’s draw was purchased somewhere in Richmond.

The lucky ticket matched all seven numbers, winning a colossal jackpot of $60 million.

The lottery corporation also says that this is the largest-ever lottery prize that’s been drawn in BC. The last time a jackpot close to this size was won was in April of 2016.

BCLC will announce the specific location in Richmond that sold the winning ticket after the winner has claimed the prize.

All lottery winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to claim their prize.
