BC RCMP issue AMBER ALERT for two Alberta girls with their mother

BC RCMP have issued an Amber Alert for two Alberta girls traveling with their mother. They were spotted in Golden, B.C. – police believe they are heading to Vancouver Island.

12-year-old Telisha Meisel and six-year-old Taya Meisel were picked up from school by their mother Trina Marie Meisel. The 48-year-old mother is wanted on two counts of abduction as she does not have custody of the girls.

Police believe the two girls are in immediate danger.

The family is believed to traveling in a 2007 black Honda CRV, with Alberta license plate ORNRSE. Telisha has long, blond wavy hair and was wearing a turquoise sweater, grey striped T-shirt and blue jeans on the day she was abducted. Her sister Taya also has long blond wavy hair and wears prescription glasses. Their mother is 5’6″ tall, 123 lbs, and has blue eyes.

Anyone who seen the family should not approach them and call 9-1-1 immediately.
