BC NDP's Adrian Dix re-elected as MLA in Vancouver-Kingsway

Adrian Dix of the NDP has been re-elected as MLA in Vancouver-Kingsway, keeping the seat for the party. Dix won 903 out of 1,406 counted votes (64.22%) with 20 of 92 polls reporting.

Cole Anderson of the BC Liberal Party won 325 votes (23.12 %). Scott Bernstein of the Green party won 144 votes (10.24 %). Karin Litzcke of the Libertarian party won 34 votes (2.42 %).

As of 8:48 p.m., the NDP has won or is leading in 46 of 87 seats. The  BC Liberal Party has won or is leading in 31, and the BC Green Party has won or is leading in four seats.

As of October 23, 7,962 vote-by-mail packages had been issued to registered voters in the riding. There are a total of 36,616 registered voters in Vancouver-Kingsway.

Provincewide, 724,279 mail-in ballots have been sent out, and there are 3,485,858 registered voters.

Mail-in ballots will be counted by hand, starting in 13 days.
