BC Lions Victory Recap, WFC New Owner

Since Mr. Skeets has a homosexual attraction (not that there is anything wrong with that) for Mats Sundin, I thought I would mention some of the other sports stories around town. Yesterday, the Whitecaps announced that Steve Nash aka Captain Canada is now part owner of the Vancouver Whitecaps.

This should only boost the chances for the team to land that coveted spot in MLS. Let’s also hope that those asshat politicians okay that waterfront stadium as well. I know that the Whitecaps will be playing in the newly renovated BC place, but the ultimate for sporting fans in this region is to have that stadium in downtown on the waterfront. Heck those jerk off dickholes in Parliament handed out a wad of cash to that smog infested city located near a polluted lake to build a new stadium. You have to love the extent of ass kissing the politicians do for the so called “centre of the universe”. In Vancouver, where no public money is needed as majority owner Greg Kerfoot will build the stadium with HIS OWN FUNDS, and we’re saying no thanks, we don’t need a brand new stadium built. That’s asshattery at its finest. Wake up people, go and throw some rocks at your local MLA’s office and let them know you what that stadium built now.

On a brighter sports story, The BC Lions defeated the poutine eating Alouettes 36 -34. Ian Smart provided the momentum change against the Montreal Alouettes with an electrifying kickoff return and Paul McCallum finished it. The game was full of excitement and showed the very best the CFL has to offer.
