Andrew Harris will not be back with the BC Lions, GM and head coach Wally Buono announced yesterday.
Wally Buono tells #TSN1040 that the @BCLions won't make an offer to @andrewharris33. "It's time to look at doing things differently"

Buono broke the news in an interview with Don Taylor and Barry MacDonald on the TSN 1040 afternoon show.
“Obviously last year was a very difficult year for him and it was very difficult for the football team too. At this point I’m not saying that we’re going to make him an offer, I don’t believe that we will. I think at this point it’s time for the club to look at doing things differently.”
“When you look at the 8 years he’s had here, he’s had 8 great years.”
Harris played six seasons with the Lions. He was a key member of the 2011 Grey Cup championship team and was named the game’s Top Canadian. Harris was a CFL All-Star last season and will have no problem finding another team to play for.
Harris took to Twitter following the news:
Well I guess that's it BC Lions fans. Thanks for all the love and support throughout my journey here in BC! 👊🏾👊🏾 https://t.co/v4fHd5Ttxc

I wouldn't be where I am today if @GM_Brillo and Neil McEvoy never gave me a shot.. I appreciate and thank you for the opportunity!

Not every player would have shown that kind of class.
