So you think you can dance, BC Lions cheerleader edition, goes this Sunday at the Scotiabank Dance Centre.
Last year over 100 dancers competed for a spot on the Felions Dance Team, and this year promises to be just as competitive. Just 35-40 women will be chosen to be part of the 2017 edition of the team.
All registrants for the auditions are required to provide photo identification prior to registration (must be at least 19 years old), a 4”x 6” or larger colour photo of themselves, a $10 non-refundable registration fee, snacks/water, as well as “plenty of energy and enthusiasm”.
Dancers, including members of last year’s team, will perform a simple across-the-floor dance routine for the judges. There will also be an optional opportunity for contestants to show off tumbling and/or gymnastic skills.
