A B.C. resort was named the single best in all of Canada, and several Vancouver hotels were also named among the best in the entire country.
This time, the designations come from U.S. News’ Best Hotels and Resorts for 2026.
For the best resorts, B.C. spots dominated the top 20 on the list.
Atop the entire leaderboard for best resorts is the Four Seasons Resort Whistler, a winter paradise that is very well-reviewed online.
Located at 4591 Blackcomb Way, the resort offers nice rooms, plenty of amenities, and a breathtaking backdrop for a long stay.

Other B.C. resorts that rounded out the list include Fairmont Chateau Whistler, Pan Pacific Vancouver, The Westin Resort and Spa in Whistler, Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge in Tofino, The Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, Naturally Pacific Resort in Campbell River, and Watermark Beach Resort in Osoyoos.
For the best hotels in Canada, a Toronto spot, the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, beat out a Vancouver spot as the best hotel in Canada, according to U.S. News. There was also some overlap between the best hotels and resorts.
The Fairmont Pacific Rim, located at 1038 Canada Pl. in Vancouver, is the B.C. hotel that ranked second among the best hotels in Canada. Aside from being the best resort in Canada, the Four Seasons Resort Whistler also got some extra love as the third-best hotel in Canada.
A few other spots ranked among the top 20, including the Four Seasons Resort Whistler, Wickaninnish Inn in Tofino, the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa in Vancouver, and a bit further down the list, the Rosewood Hotel Georgia.
