With spring right around the corner, the 46th annual BC Home + Garden Show is bringing you everything you need to whip your home and garden into shape.

The show, which takes place from February 22 to 26 at BC Place Stadium, will feature more than 425 exhibitors and local companies that will bring innovation, inspiration, and expert advice at every turn.

In addition to these exhibitors, guests will be able to get expert advice from HGTV’s favourite home and landscaping specialists, including Bryan Baeumler, Carson Arthur, Mike Holmes Jr., and Tiffany Pratt. Also hitting the Main Stage this year is a bevy of local design talent including Kendall Ansell, Jamie Banfield, and Sarah Gallop, who will be sharing their best design tips and tricks.

But that’s not all the BC Home + Garden Show has to offer. There are tons of inspiring things to check out for your home or garden, and we’ve collected five of them to give you an idea of what you won’t want to miss at the show.

WORKSHOP Series With Local Artisans

If you’ve ever wanted to bring your Pinterest board to life, this is your chance. The BC Home + Garden Show will feature different workshops from local artisans on every day of the show, including floral arrangement techniques with Celsia Floral and the art of hand lettering with Written Word Calligraphy. You’ll have to register online to make sure you have a spot in these workshops. Keep an eye out for additional workshops as they become available.

If you’re an urbanite, you can still create your own garden – as the BC Home + Garden Show demonstrates with their feature gardens. The show is featuring ideas for urban gardens, from synthetic turf to self-contained water features and hearty greens. Although the ideas are meant for small spaces, the showcase won’t be – there will be more than 3,000 square feet of urban garden containers and ideas.

Not only do you not have to do this project yourself, but by buying it you’ll also be giving back to the community. Five local influencers will be creating one-of-a-kind containers for herb and vegetable gardens using repurposed items from ReStore Vancouver. During the show, you can place a silent bid on your favourite urban garden – if you win, you’ll not only get to take it home, but all the proceeds will go to support Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver to help provide affordable housing for those most in need.
