BC Ferries is offering passengers summer discounts on early and late sailings.

The annual sunrise and sunset deal begins on May 16 and BC Ferries will add over 1,600 early morning and late evening sailings. Prices of $49, $59, and $69 will be offered for select sailings.

The promotion runs until September 4 applies to standard under-height vehicle and driver fares.

The promotion is available on the following routes (either direction):

  • Vancouver – Victoria (Tsawwassen – Swartz Bay)
  • Vancouver – Nanaimo (Tsawwassen – Duke Point)
  • West Vancouver – Nanaimo (Horseshoe Bay-Departure Bay)

Select return trips will also be available for $49 on the Horseshoe Bay to Langdale route.

BC Ferries is also offering cheaper sailings for those travelling with an extra length recreational vehicle between May 16 and September 4. Passengers with vehicles longer than 20 feet will pay only $3.25 per additional foot on select sailings on the Tsawwassen – Swartz Bay and Tsawwassen – Duke Point routes.

Reservations for these promotional sailings is not required but due to the busy travel period, reservations are strongly recommended. Space without a reservation is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
