West Vancouver ferry headed to Nanaimo delayed due to police incident

BC Ferries is warning passengers that the Queen of Oak Bay has delayed its sailing between Horseshoe Bay and Departure Bay due to a “police incident” that took place earlier in the day.

“Please be advised that the Queen of Oak Bay is operating 50 minutes behind schedule due to an unexpected delay in our service due to a police incident that has now been resolved,” said BC Ferries in a release sent out at 11:55 am.

Customers with reservations are requested to check-in at the terminals in accordance with the scheduled sailing times, to maintain their reserved status.
