
If you’re trying to catch a ferry between Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island, be prepared to wait until Sunday evening.
BC Ferries has cancelled all its daytime sailings between Tsawwassen and Vancouver Island, and between Horseshoe Bay and Vancouver Island. The cancellations are due to “severe weather,” BC Ferries tweeted.

The next scheduled departures that could go ahead are as follows:
Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay (Victoria)
Departing Tsawwassen: 7 pm
Departing Swartz Bay: 7 pm
Tsawwassen to Duke Point (Nanaimo)
Departing Tsawwassen: 8:15 pm
Departing Duke Point: 8:15 pm
Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay (Nanaimo):
Departing Horseshoe Bay: 8:05 pm
Departing Departure Bay: 8:45 pm
BC Ferries is also running a modified schedule between Horseshoe Bay and Langdale (Sunshine Coast) which is on their website.
