BC health officials announced 567 new coronavirus cases in the province on Saturday, bringing the provincially recorded total to 17,716.
In an afternoon announcement, officials said that by specific health region, this equates to 122 new cases of COVID-19 in the Vancouver Coastal Health region, 411 in the Fraser Health region, three in the Island Health region, 22 in the Interior Health region, nine in the Northern Health region, and no new cases of people who reside outside of Canada.

Currently, 100 individuals are hospitalized with COVID-19, 31 of whom are in intensive care. The remaining people with COVID-19 are recovering at home in self-isolation.
There has been one new COVID-19-related death, for a total of 276 deaths in British Columbia to date.
Today, health officials also announced new orders for the Vancouver Coastal and Fraser Health Region, affecting social gatherings, travel, indoor group physical activates, and workplace safety.
