Health officials in British Columbia are scheduled to give a written COVID-19 update on Friday afternoon.
The announcement follows 673 new test-positive cases that were confirmed on Thursday.
There are 10,009 active cases of COVID-19 in the province, and 10,388 people are under active public health monitoring as a result of identified exposure to known cases.
Currently, 358 individuals are hospitalized with the virus, 93 of whom are in intensive care. The remaining are recovering at home in self-isolation.
There were also 21 new COVID-related deaths announced yesterday, bringing the total number in BC to 713.
