BC CDC flags 15 more flights with COVID-19 exposures

The flights were added to the BC CDC’s list of public exposures on February 24 and 25.

The agency is warning anyone who was on the flights to monitor for symptoms for 14 days.

New COVID-19 measures for international travellers, including mandatory hotel quarantine, are now in effect across Canada.

On February 10, Air Canada/Jazz flight 8236 from Vancouver to Terrace reported a COVID-19 case on board. Rows 12 to 18 are affected.

On February 12, Air Canada flight 115 from Toronto to Vancouver carried an infected passenger. Affected rows have not been identified.

On February 13, Air Canada/Jazz flight 8239 from Terrace to Vancouver confirmed a coronavirus case. Rows 2 to 8 are affected.

On February 14, Air Canada/Jazz flight 8069, which travelled from Vancouver to Victoria, reported a case. Rows 17 to 20 are affected.

Also on February 14, Air Canada/Jazz flight 8239 from Terrace to Vancouver confirmed a virus case on board. Rows 16 to 20 are affected.

On February 15, Air Canada flight 114 from Vancouver to Toronto carried a passenger with COVID-19. Rows 20 to 26 are affected.

Also on February 15, Air Canada flight 224 from Vancouver to Calgary had a virus case on board. Rows 28 to 34 are affected.

The same day, Air Canada flight 314, which flew from Vancouver to Montreal, confirmed a coronavirus case. Row 1 to 3 are affected.

On February 17, Air Canada flight 242 from Vancouver to Edmonton reported a virus case on board. Rows 19 to 25 are affected.

The same day, WestJet flight 136 from Vancouver to Calgary carried a passenger with COVID-19. Rows 18 to 24 are affected.

On February 18, WestJet flight 3450 from Abbotsford to Calgary reported a virus case on board. Rows 16 to 19 are affected.

Also on February 18, Air Canada flight 106 from Vancouver to Toronto carried an infected passenger. Affected rows have not been reported.

On February 19, Aeromexico flight 9644 from Mexico City to Vancouver confirmed a COVID-19 case. Rows 15 to 21 are affected.

On February 20, Air Canada flight 251 from Edmonton to Vancouver reported a virus case on board. Rows 13 to 19 are affected.

On February 21, Flair Airlines flight 8101, which travelled from Vancouver to Edmonton, reported a coronavirus case. Rows 13 to 19 are affected.
