BC CDC adds 13 more flights to its list of COVID-19 exposures

The BC Centre for Disease Control has identified 13 more flights with COVID-19 cases on board that have passed through British Columbian airports in recent days.

The flights were added to the BC CDC’s list of public exposures on January 15.

The agency is warning travellers who were on the flights to monitor for symptoms for 14 days.

On January 5, Air Canada flight 127 from Toronto to Vancouver confirmed a COVID-19 case, but affected rows have not been reported.

Also on January 5, American Airlines flight 1539 from Dallas to Vancouver carried an infected passenger. The affected rows have not been reported.

On January 6, American Airlines flight 1539 from Dallas to Vancouver reported a virus case. Rows 9 to 13 are affected.

On January 7, Air Canada flight 107 from Toronto to Vancouver had a coronavirus case on board. Rows 1 to 6 are affected.

Also on January 7,  Air Canada flight 344 from Vancouver to Ottawa confirmed a case. Affected rows are from 16 to 22.

On January 8, WestJet flight 3176 from Abbotsford to Calgary had a COVID-19 case on board. Rows 15 to 20 are affected.

On January 9, Lufthansa flight 492 from Frankfurt to Vancouver carried a passenger with COVID-19. Rows 23 to 25 are affected.

Also on January 9, WestJet flight 725, which travelled from Toronto to Vancouver, had a coronavirus case on board. The affected rows have not been reported.

The same day, Air Canada flight 115 from Toronto to Vancouver confirmed a case, however, affected rows have not been reported.

On January 10, Air Canada flight 106 from Vancouver to Toronto had an infected passenger on board. The affected rows have not been reported.

Also on January 10, Air Canada flight 241 from Edmonton to Vancouver had a COVID-19 case on board, but the affected rows have not been reported.

On January 11, Air Canada flight 305, which flew from from Montreal to Vancouver, reported a virus case. Rows 14 to 20 are affected.

Also on January 11, WestJet flight 3231 from Calgary to Abbotsford had a coronavirus case on board. Affected rows are from 15 to 20.
