Southeast Asian-inspired chain 'Basil Box' to open in Vancouver this May
Basil Box, a fast-casual spot for eats inspired by the street markets of Thailand and Vietnam, is finally about to open its first location in Vancouver.
Just four years after its founding in Mississauga’s Square One food court, the franchise now operates 10 locations in Toronto and the GTA, and two more are coming at us quick in BC.

Known for their build-your-own salad, noodle, and rice-based bowls, Basil Box has confirmed they will be opening two locations, one in downtown Vancouver and another in Burnaby.

Basil Box’s popularity stems from the fact that its offerings are super customizable.
Any base can be added to with the patrons’ choice of a selection of vegetables, protein such as seasoned chicken, steak, shrimp, and tofu, and of course, tons of sauces and toppings too.
The Vancouver outpost is slated to open in May in the pedestrian-heavy area of Burrard/Robson at 810 Burrard Street.

The Burnaby location is expected to open in Brentwood Town Centre at 4567 Lougheed Highway in September 2019.
