Basant Motors is starting the New Year by giving a car to a family in need

As a Vancouverite, you know how hard it can be getting around without a car sometimes. Think of those days when the rain is pouring, your bus is late, and you can’t hail a cab — and you can forget about ridesharing. It can be rough.

When the holiday season hits, there is really no better gift than the gift of giving. If you’d like to play a part in helping a family in need have an easier time getting around in 2019, nominate them for Cars for Compassion today.

In celebration of the New Year approaching, Basant Motors, a local used-car dealership based in Surrey, is generously giving away a 2017 Nissan Sentra to a family in need.

You have the opportunity to give somebody the present of a lifetime (and totally make their holidays this year) by nominating them for this incredible gift.

If you know someone (it could even be you) who is deserving of receiving a free car these holidays, nominate them today by submitting a nomination.

The reasons you can nominate someone are endless; everyone has their own struggles, and so many people could use a true holiday miracle. So if you want to become the not-so-Secret Santa for a BC family you know, here’s how to make it happen.

All you have to do is submit an essay to Cars for Compassion stating your reasons why your nominee is deserving of receiving a free car this holiday season. Any individual who is a resident in the Lower Mainland may be nominated.

Your nomination essay may be supplemented with proof verifying the nominee’s claims if relevant (this includes copies of Family T4, Income Statements, Welfare Letters, and so on). However, it is not necessary.

Do you want to help a family in need’s dream come true? Nominations are now open, and will be allowed up until January 31, 2019.

If you would like to nominate someone or would like more information, head to Basant Motors Cars for Compassion.
