In case you were wondering, bars will not be open for hockey fans to watch the men’s gold medal game.
The game starts at 4 a.m. PST on Sunday February 23, 2014 and the provincial government is not looking into extending the liquor laws to allow bars and pubs to stay open in the early morning hours.
Many will likely be out and about on Saturday night, so a Sunday morning game is appealing to many late night revellers. However, it’s highly unlikely that a concession can be reached in time for this weekend’s big game.
