Eerie 'Backrooms' entryways are appearing around Vancouver

Horror fans around the world are gearing up for the release of the upcoming A24 flick, Backrooms, and there have been some interesting sightings around Vancouver in connection with the release.
Some Hollywood box office reports predict that the impending release will be A24’s biggest, which is quite a stunning revelation considering some of the massive hits A24 has released.
In the lead-up to this Friday’s major release, some spooky Backrooms entryways have been appearing around Vancouver.

The blue-taped boundary markers are entryways into “The Complex” or the alternate maze-like dimension in Kane Parsons’ mind-bending story.
The Park Theatre also got involved in the fun. The recently acquired and saved venue also gave its bathrooms a little makeover.

The theatre might be the place to be for folks who’ve been eagerly awaiting the Backrooms release, as it will host an exclusive advanced screening on May 28, ahead of the official release a day later.
London is also getting in on the fun:

We wrote about Backrooms earlier this month, due to the fact that a retro Vancouver motel was heavily featured in one of the recent trailers for the movie. A recent promo trailer reveals a notable Vancouver filming location, the 2400 Motel in East Vancouver. The motel has also been used in other major Hollywood films and TV shows.
Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) and Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value) are the film’s primary stars. Horror icon James Wan is also listed as one of the producers.
Oddfellows Entertainment, a new Vancouver-based film studio with Chris Ferguson at the helm, is also one of the producers for the movie, a huge feather in the cap for the local studio.
