Twenty men from across the country will compete for the love of one yet-to-be-announced woman, doing just about anything it takes to win her over and receive that coveted final rose. Casting for the first season’s bachelors commenced on November 18 and anyone interested in applying for the role can enter online, have someone nominate them, or visit the in-person casting calls across Canada beginning in January.

The only requirements for the men are that they must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada and age 19 or above – and of course, on the search for true love.

Applicants must bring an original copy of a valid photo ID (either of the following: (1) passport or (2) birth certificate, driver’s license, or government issued photo ID). The show also recommends applicants avoid wearing white, black, busy patterns and clothing with logos.

The tour’s first stop will be in Vancouver on Tuesday, January 19 from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at The Westin Grand.
