A car drove into an A&W restaurant in downtown Vancouver this evening, and thankfully no one was hurt.
The incident occurred on Dunsmuir and Seymour Street, a busy area for pedestrians. The restaurant is located right on the corner.
According to witnesses, the driver drove into the bike lane accidentally and swerved to avoid a biker, driving into the restaurant’s window.
“My heart is still pounding,” one A&W employee told Vancity Buzz. “I just hope everyone is okay.”
Police officers and paramedics are on scene. Traffic in the area remains open.
