Veggie-loving Canadians have had a patty-shaped hole in their hearts ever since the beloved plant-based Beyond Meat Burger went out of stock at A&W restaurants across the country.
The popular offering was introduced to the chain’s permanent menu in July, and due to wild popularity, it ran out just a short while later.

Initially, restaurants were expected to have the burgers replenished “within the next few weeks,” but the wait has been considerably longer than anticipated.
A&W sent out a newsletter on September 12 explaining that the burger will be back in Canadian restaurants on October 1.
So, breathe a sigh of relief, mark your calendars, and come hungry.
