Dec 19 2017, 1:34 pm

Car enthusiasts across the Lower Mainland are getting ready to celebrate all things automotive with the 92nd Annual Vancouver International Auto Show as it returns to the newly rebuilt BC Place Stadium this Tuesday, April 3rd and VancityBuzz has the DL on what’s in store for Vancouver’s petrol powered street set.

Friday kicked off the start of Auto Week at and exclusive presentation and lunch set up by Lincoln of Canada where the the topic of discussion was the Evolution of Luxury and how it fits in with Ford’s new line of premium automobiles. (Stay tuned for a piece about Lincoln’s new MKZ.) I was joined by men about town, Dennis Pang of Popcorn, and Rick Chung as we sat down for delicious Beef Tenderloin and Arctic Char and chatted about the finer points and benefits of social media in Vancouver.

A mere four hours after lunch and I was off to OpenRoad Scion for the launch of the new IQ, one of the world’s smallest 4 passenger cars, and some delicious Pan Asian cuisine courtesy of the good folks at Roaming Dragon.

Finally, the weekend was filled to the brim with my ongoing road test of the 2012 Mini Countryman S All4, courtesy of Mini Langley and Mini Canada. Keep an eye on VCB for a detailed review and impressions on this 4 door sports wagon and learn why the Mini brand is celebrating 10 successful years in Canada.

If you’re looking for your car fix, there’s gonna be lots of words and pictures coming down the pipe, this week here on VancityBuzz. Fasten your seatbelts!
