The ARC Photography conference returns to Vancouver this month

Nov 1 2019, 3:06 pm

One of Vancouver’s most popular photography conferences and workshops is making its return this month.

On Wednesday, November 20 and Thursday, November 21, the ARC Photography Conference and Workshops will be taking over Fortune Sound Club with world-class speakers, workshops, and dozens of passionate photographers.

This year’s event is about practicality and hands-on workshops to inspire action. The first day of the event will see workshops with Benj Haisch and Samm Blake, two world-class speakers. The second day includes a technical conference, as well as an after-party with a live band, karaoke, and DJ.

Some of the event’s presentations include how to light couples with flash, how to build trust with clients, and understanding the costs of running your photography business. In total, the ARC Photography Conference will have two keynote speakers, eight mini-presentations, and plenty of social and networking events including a Fujifilm after-party with live bands and DJs.

The event is also open to photographers of all skill levels.

Tickets for the conference begin at $399 for one-day entrance. Passes with one to two workshops will cost between $749 and $1,000, (although you can use the code DAILYHIVE to score $100 off).

Seats are limited, however, as the event is already 90% sold out. Tickets can be purchased online.
