The Aquilini Group announced today that it has acquired Toptable Group. Toptable will continue to retain the assistance of award winning restaurateur and former Toptable proprietor Jack Evrensel. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Toptable Group includes Araxi, Blue Water Cafe, CinCin, West, and Thierry, adding to the list of the Aquilini Group’s business operations which include the Vancouver Canucks and Rogers Arena.
Today’s announcement comes after weeks of speculation that the Aquilini Group is looking into the expanding their operations into the restaurant business.
Earlier this month, the Aquilini Group announced that they would be prematurely terminating their contract with Aramark at the end of this NHL season. Aramark employs 1,000 food and beverage staff at Rogers Arena.
