This June, Silicon Valley’s Plug and Play Tech Center and Boast Capital will jointly host Startup Showdown 2.0 and would like to invite all early-stage startups to apply to pitch.
Plug and Play is an incubator and early-stage investor. Since inception in January 2006, Plug and Play has helped the startup community raise over $1 billion in venture funding, and has invested in 100+ companies including PayPal, Dropbox, Lending Club and Zoosk.
The top startups selected by a panel of judges will receive the following:
- An investment of $25,000
- Three months of free office space at the Plug and Play Tech Center in Silicon Valley. After the initial three months, select startups are also eligible to receive an additional three months of office space in the Valley through the Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) program run by the Consulate General of Canada.
- Access to Plug and Play’s network of over 180+ investors
- Weekly mentorship sessions with the opportunity to hear from experienced investors, entrepreneurs and executives
- Opportunity to pitch at Plug and Play Expo in Silicon Valley in front of over 500 people including VCs, angel investors, corporations and media
In 2012, Plug and Play partnered with Boast Capital to launch Plug and Play Canada in an effort to invest in early-stage Canadian startups. At its inaugural Startup Showdown in Vancouver last November, they invested in 3 BC-based startups: Bex.io, BluePerch and RouteZilla.
Apply now to pitch at Plug and Play’s Startup Showdown 2.0 before May 15.
