Another car gets stuck on stairs at UBC (VIDEO)

It happened again. Exactly one week after a previous incident involving a Mercedes SUV, another car was found stuck over the weekend at the exact same place at the UBC Vancouver campus.

According to the Ubyssey, the second incident this month occurred on Sunday at approximately 11:30 a.m when the driver of a Volkswagen entered a pedestrian-only pathway and drove over a flight of stairs just outside Irving K. Barber Learning Centre.

While the driver of the Mercedes SUV managed to free the vehicle on their own using jacks, the Volkswagen driver hired a tow truck to resolve the embarrassing situation.

At this rate, it might only be a matter of time before bollards are installed to prevent similar incidents from occurring again.
