Charity art auction helps support local families in need

The holiday season is all about giving back to those less fortunate.

Westcoast Family Centres is hosting The Art Affair, a charity art auction dedicated to providing holiday funds directly to families to fulfill their holiday wish list.

This time of year can be challenging for many families and The Art Affair is committed to to lifting the holiday spirits of local children and families facing various challenges on a daily basis.

The proceeds from over 100 art pieces will go directly into fulfilling wish lists from many local families which often include: warm clothes, family games and outings, new sheets, or new cribs and supplies for an expecting mother.

Pieces will range from $80 – $30,000 with 10 pieces auctioning for under $5,000. Each ticket includes a complimentary beverage, snacks, live music and live auction.

Where: Hootsuite Headquarters – 5 East 8th Ave, Vancouver.

Time: 6 pm – 9 pm

Admission: $20-$25 dollars online, $40 dollars at the door (cash only)
