Andrew Peller Ltd's skinnygrape wine is here

Here’s the skinny on Andrew Peller Ltd’s newest wine: it’s only 80 calories per five ounce serving. Good on the lips and on the hips, skinnygrape lets Canadians have their wine and drink it, too.

Available in Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio, there are no chemical enhancements on the drink to make it net out at 80 calories. It’s the cooler climates which served as the perfect setting for cultivating the drink with grapes from Ontario and Northern Italy.

The Chardonnay:

  • Ripe sweet apple, pear and delicate oak notes on the palate are followed by interesting notes of lemon drop and spice on the finish. Pair with herb-grilled chicken, veggie burgers of quinoa salad.

The Pinot Grigio:

  • Tree-fruit flavours of apple, pear, yellow plum and a touch of citrus dance on the palate and linger through on the finish.
  • Pair with rich sushi, garlic-roasted veggies or hummus and whole wheat pita.

Retailing for $10.99 for bottle, the good value e is just an added plus!
