[UPDATED] 17-year-old girl goes missing, disappearance is 'out of character'

  • Update – June 20, 2016: Surrey RCMP have located Amy Woodward, reporting she is safe.

Police in Surrey have deemed Amy Woodward as a high-risk missing female and are seeking the public’s help to find her.

The 17-year-old girl was last seen at 2 am on Saturday, June 18 in the 7100 block of 151 Street in Surrey. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Surrey RCMP have described her as a Caucasian female, 5’4″ tall, weighs 115 lbs, with long blonde dyed hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and jeans.

“It is out of character for Amy to be out of touch with her family or friends for this long,” reads a police release. “She suffers from a medical condition requiring medication. Police and family are concerned for her health and well-being.”
