Alice in Wonderland Themed Pop-up Restaurant Vancouver

Dec 19 2017, 1:14 pm

There is no shortage of great restaurants in Vancouver, we all know that. However, this pop-up restaurant may be the weirdest one to grace our city. To most Alice in Wonderland is just a fairytale, to some an obsession. However, Swallowtail Canada is bringing the wonderland experience in pop-up restaurant form dubbed Down the Rabbit Hole.

Swallow Tail runs a few underground culinary evenings here in Vancouver but this has to be the weirdest venture yet.  It’s so out there that it has even caught the attention of Celebrity Chef/Food Network star, Bob Blumer. He is currently looking for  “World’s Weirdest Restaurant” and Down the Rabbit Hole just might be it.

It all starts as the night begins outside an enchanted forest, here guests will be greeted by a rabbit who will lead them “down the rabbit hole”. Inside diners will get to experience the wonderfully twisted world of Alice in Wonderland.

Once down there diners will be able to interact with their favorite Alice in Wonderland characters.

Tickets are a bit pricey, but you are paying for more than just a meal. At $129 per person it includes five Wonderland-themed courses, a cocktail creation by Swallowtail, and of course the interactive show.

The location of the venue won’t be known until a week before the reserved date.

To reserve your spot, e-mail [email protected] or call 778-319-9453. Be quick as tickets are going fast.
